Curriculum

The curriculum followed by instructors of the S.A.F.K.F.F is regularly updated to accommodate new information and experience of our instructors.

Adults

The curriculum for adults initially focuses on a small number of techniques (locks, strikes and throws). These techniques are "filled" with the basic Fanchento principles. Once students have an understanding of these basic principles, material (in terms of more advanced techniques and a range of concepts) are rapidly covered for students to "make their own" at their individual pace.

Children

The curriculum for children has been designed to fit into the school year and is in accord with principles of physical education. The current curriculum was approved and adopted by the Federation in April 2008. Click here for further information.
